weather
Between June and September, Pelican offers long days, cool temperatures, and ever changing coastal weather. Guests can expect a mix of sun, clouds, wind, and occasional rain, with temperatures generally ranging from the mid-40s to mid-60s. Conditions can shift quickly, which is why dressing in layers is key to staying comfortable on the water.
Our fishing trips head out rain or shine, but your safety always comes first. Our captains are highly experienced in local waters and monitor conditions closely throughout the day. Boats are fully equipped with modern safety gear, and if the weather turns rough, we adjust as needed to keep everyone safe. While the Alaskan weather may be unpredictable, you can count on us to provide a secure, enjoyable experience regardless of the forecast.
