YES! You must arrive to the lodge with a printed fishing license. Licenses may be purchased on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game website (also linked below). You must buy a seven day sport fishing license and we recommend you purchase a king salmon stamp as well.

Alcohol is not included. If you plan to drink regularly or in larger quantities, we recommend bringing your own supply. Guests are welcome to bring cases or other beverages from home, or you can purchase alcohol in Juneau before arriving in Pelican.

Due to our remote location cell service is spotty and unreliable. However at the lodge and on our boats we offer free wifi so you can stay connected during your trip.

The short answer: we still fish! Our captains are highly skilled at navigating through any kind of weather and safety is always our top priority.

No. Our boats are outfitted with high quality gear that is specific for each kind of fishing you will be doing. You can feel free to leave your barbie reel at home!
